The shape of the day
It starts in daylight. It does not end there.
Most whisky events are a room. This one is a lawn on the coast that changes three times before the night is out.
From 16:00The open floor
Pavilions on the grass, the Marina behind them, and sixty distilleries pouring in daylight. Trade hour first, then the gates open.
From 18:30Golden hour
The light goes amber, the masterclasses fill, and the cocktail stage starts its heats. This is the hour everyone photographs.
Until lateAfter dark
Fire performers, a live violinist, samba and a DJ. The pavilions stay lit and the pouring does not stop.
